Online Catalog
Use the online catalog to locate print books, electronic books, DVDs, and CDs. You can search by keyword ("words or phrase"), title, author, subject or series. You can also renew your materials, put materials on hold and search for materials placed on Reserve for your classes.
SPECIAL NOTE: When navigating the Online Catalog, always use the Go Back button in the blue bar near to top of the screen. DO NOT use the back button in your browser.
- How to Use the Catalog

Lookup a Reserve
- After following the Online Catalog link above, click on Reserve Desk in the center of the gray bar near the top of the screen.
- Enter either your Instructor's Name, Course Number or Course Name and click on the corresponding button below the search box.
NOTE: If searching by course number, be sure to leave a space between the 3-letter department code and the number, for example: EGL space 101.

Renew Your Books
- After following the Online Catalog link above, click on My Account in the gray bar near the top of the screen.
- Select Renew My Materials and enter your User ID (14-digit barcode number on your library card which begins with the numbers 21969) and your PIN (4-digit number written on your library card).
- Leave the Alternate ID box blank.
- Click the List Charged Items button.
- Select items for renewal and click Renew Selected Items button.
- Be sure to wait for confirmation.

Place a Hold
- When searching the library catalog, you may come across a listing for a book that contains the following message under Item info: No copies currently available.
- To place a hold on the book so that you are notified when it has been returned and is available for you to check out, click on Place Hold
- To do so, click on Place Hold under the Keep button in the box at the far left of the screen. Enter your User ID (14-digit barcode number on your library card which begins with the numbers 21969) and your PIN (4-digit number written on your library card).
- Leave the Alternate ID box blank.
- If there is a date after which you no longer want to be notified about the availability of the book, complete the Expiration date.
- Click the Place Hold button.
