Do I have to sign up with my child?
No, it is an option. You can sign up and not bring a child or you can sign your child up and not attend yourself. Just be aware that classes marked with the parent/child icon are multi-generational and taught as such.
-
Do I use the same course number for myself and my child?
Our course designations are age specific. Anyone over the age of 16 may use an adult course code (they always start with a G). If your child is 15 or younger they must register using a youth course code (they always start with a Y).

Yes, every child will get a part in the play. Your child will be assigned a part in the play according to their comfort level and skill. As their skill grows they will be assigned parts with more lines and greater responsibility.
-
Will my child have to audition for a part?
There is an audition process for choosing the best part for your child, but every child gets a part. No one in YPTP is excluded from the fun. The process is designed to help your child not only find the best part for them but also to find the one they will have the most fun with.
-
What if my child is a little shy but wants to be in class?
The YPTP program is designed to teach children the confidence to come out of their shells and shine on stage. Our engaging teachers excel at helping children find their voice and presence on stage. This will translate in to real life skills for children that may be shy.
