Cecil provides a great option to get you licensed to operate your personal recreational vehicles such as Motorcycles and Boats!

If you need a Class M license to operate a motorcycle on the road, we have 3 options from which to choose:

  • Basic Rider Course for novice motorcycle drivers.
  • Alternate Basic Rider Course for the experienced rider who does have an official Class M license to operate on the road.
  • Experienced Rider Course for those who need a short course refresher on important topics such as safety and updated rules of the road.

Motorcycle Safety Classes

If you are born after July 1, 1972, you need a certification to operate a numbered, documented vessel in Maryland waters. We offer 9 hours of classroom instruction including the lifetime certification exam at Cecil.
