ACTIVITIES & ATHLETICS
College Galleries
North East
The Gallery in the Milburn Stone Theater supports the mission of Cecil College by exhibiting art and artifacts by students and professional artists for viewing by the public. Exhibitions will provide students with an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills necessary to further their career and educational goals as an artist; promote cultural diversity and artistic excellence based on standards of quality advanced by arts program faculty, provide a technologically enriched learning environment through the use of audio/ visual support; work closely with academic programs to enhance and augment existing educational offerings and expand accessibility and participation in Gallery programming.
Elkton Station
The Elkton Station Gallery is a key participant in the Elkton Arts and Entertainment District. The Performing Arts Hall and the Elkton Station Art Gallery feature performances, special events and art exhibits where you can always expect the unexpected.
Student artwork is also featured in the gallery. Each semester students participate in a fine art exhibit and pottery sale. Ceramics students help organize and create artwork for the pottery sales, which are held in conjunction with the Fine Arts Student Exhibits each semester. Art majors in their final semester present their capstone exhibit as part of the Fine Arts Student Exhibit.
