Women's Soccer Wraps Up Season
Despite a solid effort from the whole squad, the women's soccer team was defeated 4-3 by CCBC-Catonsville. Natalie Figueroa, Marissa Spencer and Brandi Morgante each scored for Cecil (2-7-0).
Women's Soccer Update
The women's soccer team slipped to 2-6-0 with a pair of losses to Harford Community College, 9-0, and CCBC-Essex, 1-0. The Seahawks' defense limited Harford to three goals in the first half but allowed six scores in the second period. In the CCBC-Essex match, Cecil held the conference's leading scorer to zero points. The only goal of the day came on a 35-yard shot with less than 10 minutes to play.
Women's Soccer Defeats Frederick
The women's soccer team evened its record at 2-2 with a 4-2 win over Frederick Community College on Tuesday, October 4. Marissa Spencer scored three times with two assists from Erica McQuaide and one from Madison Kammerer. Natalie Figueroa also had a goal for Cecil. Goalkeeper Heidi Wagener recorded 14 saves in the victory.
Women's Soccer Defeated by Anne Arundel
The women's soccer team slipped to 1-2-0 with a 7-0 loss to Anne Arundel Community College on Thursday, September 22. Goalkeeper Heidi Wagener made 22 saves.
Women's Soccer Defeated by Howard
The women's soccer team evened its record at 1-1 with a 5-1 loss to Howard Community College on Tuesday, September 13. Marissa Spencer scored with an assist from Natalie Figueroa, while Heidi Wagener made several key saves in the second half.
